昭和44年10月に撮られた写真です。正面やや右手は現在地に遷座する前の八坂神社(天王様)です。八坂神社の左側が本土寺道の入口です。本土寺道を示す石標(江戸時代後期に建立されたもの)が現在も残っています。
This photo was taken in October 1969. In the back is the Yasaka Shrine before it was relocated to its present location. To the left of Yasaka Shrine is the entrance to the approach to the Hondoji temple. A stone marker erected in the late Edo period marking the approach to Hondoji still remains today.
昭和46年頃の八坂神社例祭の様子です。
a. 左:奥が八坂神社 中:近づいたところ 右:境内
b. 中:お神輿の後ろの建物は、ハワイ通りに移転する前の小金郵便局
c. 左:小金宿最後の茅葺屋根・大島さん(屋号:長四郎どん)宅。現在、居酒屋さん(焼き鳥屋さん?)がある辺りです。

c. Left:The last thatched-roof building in Kogane-shuku, the Oshima’s (shop name: Choshiro-don’s) house. This is where an izakaya (or a yakitori shop) is now located.
八坂神社があった場所はピコティ北小金(低層階はAEON)になっています。
The place where the Yasaka Shrine was located is now UR rental housing (the lower floors are AEON supermarket).
